At Vision Tattoo we make getting tattooed an easy enjoyable experience. Each of our artists has a large portfolio to ensure that they are the right one for the job. We also recommend that you do a bit of research to find the image or style that you like. Keep in mind that the artist may need to make some changes to your design to make sure it is able to be tattooed.

For those who have an idea of what they want and are not sure if it will work, we offer free consultations with the artist of your choice. Not every situation needs a consultation, but we are more than happy to sit and discuss your ideas. We definitely encourage consultations for questionable portraits, cover ups, scars and other situations. When booking a consultation it is important to bring with you any printed reference images you may have so the artist can clearly see the direction you want to go in.

When booking a tattoo appointment, you will be required to leave a minimum deposit of $60 to secure your spot in the book. Without a deposit, there is no real commitment to the appointment and we are unable to guarantee the spot will be open. We also offer the option to book a spot over the phone as long as a deposit is given with a credit or debit card. If you decide to book your appointment over the phone we do ask to have your images either emailed or dropped off to the artist before the day of your appointment. Once the tattoo is complete, the deposit will be honored towards the total cost of the tattoo. We tattoo mainly by appointment, but will be more than happy to accommodate walk-ins, if the time is available.

When getting tattooed at Vision Tattoo, you will notice that we take every precaution to prevent cross contamination. Every sterile needle and tube being used is opened in front of each client to ensure individual use. Each surface that may become contaminated is covered with a bag, sleeve, barrier film, or a dry back dental bib to prevent cross contamination. Once your tattoo is completed, the artist will then explain the suggested care for the tattoo, and then thoroughly disinfect the room before working on their next client.

In the State of New Jersey any person getting tattooed must be at least 18 years of age with proper government issued photo ID. We also are able to tattoo minors at the ages of 16 and 17 years old. Any minor to be tattooed must have a photo ID (School ID, Six Flags Pass, Passport, County ID, etc.), their birth certificate, and parent/guardian must have their government issued photo ID (Drivers License, Passport) with legal guardianship documents if a guardian. We can not tattoo anyone without the proper Id, regardless if you did your paperwork the last time you were here, no exceptions. If you do not have the required ID we will unfortunately have to reschedule your appointment.
